Fallbrook Park
The neighborhood wanted a complete reconstruction of a small site. Drainage is always an issue, and this site was no exception. We installed oversized, subsurface drainpipe to “hold” rainwater before sending it downstream. The concept is simple, but on a very small site, it requires a tremendous amount of underground excavation.
The result is a park facility including shade structures over seating areas, a prefabricated pavilion, and a new shaded playground structure. A permeable paver path runs adjacent to a riverbed with a recirculating pump and landscaping enhancements.
