Bridgeland South Lake Edge

Bridgeland South Lake serves as the anchor point for Prairieland Village in the award winning master planned community of Bridgeland. The first of the amenities constructed to serve Prairieland Village. The project is unique in that the rain water on adjacent roadways is collected through a series of false inlets and filtered as it travel to the lake by a series of bioswales which are heavily planted. The new landscape is focused on creating habitats for all types of wildlife. The system of trails, boardwalks and overlooks provides for community recreation as well as interaction with wildlife. Landscape Art served as the general contractor and self-performed the majority of this work.
